A containerized cement silo, also known as a horizontal bulk cement tank, is a closed tank designed for storing bulk materials, suitable for cement, fly ash, and other bulk materials. It features a material level indicator that indicates the location and quantity of the material, and a rupture mechanism to remove the buildup of material caused by prolonged sedimentation. Horizontal cement silos are square in shape, supported by several legs at the bottom. The discharge cone is a square cone, and the silo is constructed from a welded frame of corrugated sheet metal and profiles, resulting in a relatively low overall height. A cement discharge port and screw conveyor at the bottom facilitate unloading and conveying. Compared to traditional vertical cement silos, horizontal cement silos have lower foundation requirements and can be placed directly on the ground, making them easily transportable by truck or flatbed without disassembly. Horizontal cement silos are commonly available in two-, four-, and six-hopper configurations, with common sizes ranging from 30 tons, 50 tons, 80 tons, and 100 tons. Customization is also possible upon request. Horizontal cement silos are widely used in various mobile concrete batching plant, foundation-free concrete batching plant and other temporary concrete mixing plants or stabilized soil mixing plants.
